This surgery is generally aimed at adjusting the position of the ears to a position closer to the head, or alternatively, for reducing the size of large ears.
Generally this procedure is carried out on children in the age group of four to fourteen years. It is recommended that the sooner the surgery is carried out, the better it is for the self-esteem of the child. This surgery can also be carried out on adults, which generally adds no additional risks associated with older patients.

What is the recovery process?
There will be some inflammation and discoloration for 1 to 3 weeks, which is completely normal in this type of surgery. Bandages will be removed from 2 to 7 days after the surgery.
